After we left Alpena, we drove through Rogers City. It’s been over a year since we toured the village, but I still remember thinking it was one of the most adorable places I’d ever seen.
Small, cute and well kept. There was a small marina and a cute downtown area. It reminded me of Saugatuck, MI, but on a much smaller scale. Which should tell you something. It was tiny!
There was a marina on the shore of Lake Huron and I could easily imagine a romantic life owning a boat. Or, a bed and breakfast.
We have to find more time visiting this little gem. Everything appeared to be in walking distance, and seemed like a very good place to live.
